AN ALTERNATIVE TO NEEDLES |
 |
Are you scared of the needles used in Acupuncture? Acupressure massage
is a non-invasive, non-circulatory form
of bodywork that is an effective alternative to
Acupuncture when treating the
severely immune compromised or the needle phobic.

HOW ACUPRESSURE WORKS |
 |
Acupoints are places on the skin that are
especially sensitive to bioelectrical
impulses in the body. They act as junction points on the body's bioelectrical
pathways or "meridians." These meridians carry the human energy known to the
Chinese as Qi (Chi).
Triggering these Acupoints with pressure releases endorphins
(neurochemicals) and relieves pain by increasing the flow of blood and oxygen
to the affected areas.
